I was skeptical when I heard Disney were going to make a movie about Hercules. How were they going to get around the whole illegitimate-son-of-a-god thing? Or Hera's vendetta? The twelve labours being punishment for Hercules going insane and murdering

Love this song! :D It really is the best from that movie.

Honestly not surprised with how Disney changed things or simply glossed over them by not including them at all. That's pretty typical. The Hunchback of Notre Dame is another good example of that. Even so I can overlook that and enjoy the movies anyway. They tend to be some of my "turn my brain off" movies where I don't need to be fully present and can just kind of tune out, which is nice sometimes.

I thought they trod pretty close to the edge with Hunchback and depicting Frollo's obsession with Esmeralda. But I've never read the novel and, knowing Victor Hugo, there was plenty to be left out lol.
