I'm kinda mixed about that. On the one hand, it's raining now, so a part of me hopes someone who will value it has it safe and dry. On the other hand, a part of me would hope that no one would have taken it from Gasworks earlier than the artist intended. That may sound like an odd conflict, but I worked with Midori on her installation at the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival, and her piece was designed to be destroyed by people interacting with it over the course of the show, so I can understand why preservation can actually be contrary to the artist's design.
