i like to call it the war of southern aggression.

Da, and that's the other part that pisses me off. It was the South that refused to go along with the will of the Nation, and it was traitors in the South who fired the first shot against their own countrymen. They cry State's Rights, when history shows the only 'right' the South was concerned about was the ability to define blacks as chattel. When they talk about preserving the Southern way of life, they are talking about a way of life that was based on slavery, and could not survive without it.
