Via a knit/geek friend (and I see knitmeapony's picked it up as well), Empire magazine celebrates its twentieth birthday with...well, a 2009 revisit of some films. Seriously fun.

Um. Usually I am not much into either of them, but that pic of Sean Bean and Viggo Mortensen is pure hott-ness. Yikes.

ETA: The Sam Neill one might be my favorite. I always forget just how much I loved Jurassic Park when it came out. I need to revisit that film.

Those pictures are pretty awesome. I love the Sam Neill one and also the Viggo and Sean one.

Man, Mel Gibson with the sword. I cringed a bit....

Also, what is it with having to have Emma Watson's bare legs front and center in the Harry Potter shots?

I love those shots. Our local newsagents only had the Daniel Craig cover so I didn't see any of the others.

Mel Gibson has not aged well at all - when I look at him in his very early movies I can almost see why he was a sex symbol (if I forget the douchery of his recent years) but he did not age the least bit well.

The Sam Neill one is kind of adorable, even with the T-Rex.

If all of these are supposed to represent specific movies, then I definitely don't recognize a good third of them. I feel shame.
