Why hello f-list!  Long time no talk.

Well, see, Mark just got back from his annual three week trip to Japan.  And like most years, I didn't have time to be bored while he was gone.  It seems like my friends and family take turns making sure I'm not lonely when he leaves, which is very nice of them, and leaves me with little time for things like ( Read more... )

Ooooooh. Yep, I can see it. And there are a lot of similarities between martial arts and dance, especially on a show like Avatar.

Oh, I'm glad that it sounds like things are sorted out with that nightmare of a tenant! I can't believe that some people can be so horrible.

I hadn't watched the anime of Airbender, but I've just hated reading about what they've done to the characters and the setting. It's ridiculous, and after reading the interviews that M. Shyamalan is giving I am torn between thinking he deserves everything that is coming to him and being frustrated that he's such a perfect target for the studios to hide behind.

I am so, so glad, too. I can't even tell you how happy hearing the judge's verdict made me.

On Aribender: unfortunately, in this case I'm not so sure he is a scapegoat for the studios to hide behind. It's my understanding that he had pretty complete creative control. He wrote, directed, and produced the movie. He cast it himself. Honestly, if not for James Newton Howard's excellent score and ILM's gorgeous effects, I don't know that I would've been able to sit through the movie.

Oh, I loved The Hunger Games! And I have such an attachment to Peeta. *Squishes him*

I know! I love Peeta. :) We haven't seen enough of Gale to really love him, but I do feel the connection between Katniss and both of them. So hard to choose!

I'm very afraid the author will solve this problem by killing one of them off in the third book. :(

I'm terrified someone will die in the next book. I'd be okay if it were Gale. But if it's Peeta, I may hurl the book across the room.
