Proud new owner of an iPod color 20GB. I must come up with a suitable name for my precious. :)

Once I actually looked at them side-by-side, getting the mini wasn't even an option. The size difference is so minimal as to be ridiculous, and for $45 more, I added 14GB to my music capacity, and got a color screen. I'm going to invest in an iskinRead more... )

I can't take credit, unfortunately. seshat1 made it. I must admit I fell in love the instant I saw it. Maybe an iTardis would have been a smidge better, but other than that, hands down the best i-icon I'v found. :)

I called my first 15 gig'er prehistoric Rio Riot 'Mazda' (and everything else after her 'mini-mazda') as she was so big that having her on the belt was like strapping a Mazda to the hip.

Of course, the ipod has a different look to her. May I suggest 'OWhiteWOneder'? *ducks*

LOL! Well, the iPod is somewhat smaller than a Mazda, thank goodness. And since I'm getting a color iskin, it won't be white much longer (also thank goodness). :) What brand MP3 player do you have now? We looked at several, but the iPod had all the features we wanted, was sleek, and the controls easy.

A small iriver, 256mb, good for running around the city. I keep Mazda around for longer trips.

The ipod has a good rep; I have a girlfriend who got one a year ago and loves hers.

I totally agree about the size vs. cost vs. drive space issue, hence I have the 20G as well. And I meant to tell you that I bought a cover for mine that comes with a removeable arm band and belt clip. The arm band works pretty well for running (though it's a bit big and eventually works its way down to my elbow...still feels pretty secure).

Congrats!!
