Glad you had an awesome time at WW - can't wait to hear more about it!

But first off, rest up and get to feeling better. *g*

Feel better! And then come back and fill us in on these incredibly tantalizing hints about who you met who'd read your fanfic. Tell!

er...um...no one had actually read my fanfic, but there was a fanfic reading, which I attended, and heard the fanfic of several others. Some of whom are professionals in the field. I listened to several slash pieces, even, which I've never even read before.

I not only didn't bring any fic (not knowing that fic would even be a topic at such an event), but was too sick with a cold to have done a good reading if I had. LJ names were exchanged, so I expect someone from the workshop will read my fic eventually. :)

Also, there was a very interesting panel given by a writer who has a book coming out in December, and her editor from Tor, about fanfic and how it can be good for your writing.

Damn, I'm sorry you were so sick! But how amazing that fanfic is really coming into the mainstream.

And I'm just going to whisper the words Sunlight and Shadow before fading into the night. Feel better!

Yes, I have a whole new approach for the book, now. See, this thing called an outline will help tremendously. :) I'll keep you (and everyone else -- psychopepsquad has also left me the occassional "nudge") updated. ;)
