Should I spend ~$50 on seeds for this year's (and future years') summer and winter gardens? ... Okay, the tomatoes are for next year. They're so pretty, I want them now! :/

John and I are excited to be starting our second year of summer garden! I just started my tomatos, peppers, eggplant, and peas germinating today. Whee! Hopefully this year we won't totally fail at our winter garden. I did end up ordering the seeds online, but trimmed it down pretty significantly.
