breaking the Winter Break

Yay! An update, and a public one at that. There will be a somewhat different (and f-locked) version of this post shortly, once I get it written either tonight or tomorrow depending on how fast I write this.

The LJ break ended up being by accident. (Peeks back at last public entry, in October) Medical issues and the time of year conspired against me
