Well, I did something rather stupid last week.  Ubuntu had been having problems for about a month with the main part of their update server; I think maybe someone had hacked it.  Anyway, I decided to move from the LTS (long-term support) release to the newest one.  I should have known better, really; a while back I did this, and it didn't end well ( Read more... )

Finally, a football game worth watching!  The Dawgs just shut out Vandy 43-0.  It's a pretty big conference rivalry, it was Georgia's homecoming, and Uga VIII's debut game as mascot.  It was a clean game, and we conducted ourselves well.  Not to mention, it's always fun to watch a blowout when it's your team winning. :D  Makes up for the fact that ( Read more... )
