I like your blog! May I comment on the Peace Corps situation? You're right. It's not fair. It smacks of discrimination and I do hope you appeal. Why can't we just be treated like normal, functioning human beings--if we're willing to do the work, then just let us do it! The whole RA thing can really make one feel--very alone. I finally got my insurance company to approve Celebrex--it took 5 years! Will keep fingers crossed that your appeal is successful. Take care--Lin
Hi Lin, Thanks for the message! Yeah...I'm going to appeal and see what happens. I can't help but feel that their medical policies are somewhat discriminatory as well. I KNOW with a bit of help I could make it work out just fine. Oh wow, 5 years for celebrex?!! Good grief, that's terrible. What insurance do you have?
