Lightspeed buys "The Plausibility of Dragons"

I'm delighted to say that John Joseph Adams just bought my fantasy story "The Plausibility of Dragons" for Lightspeed Magazine. This is my first sale ever to John, and I couldn't be happier.  I'll let you know when it comes out.

Impressed and a bit envious. Is it really about dragons? My 8 year old can't get enough dragon stories.

It really is about dragons, and a dragon does appear in the story, but it's kind of symbolic and allegorical. (I don't mean to say it's not big, reptilian, and scary, but rather that an 8-year-old might miss the point. :) )
