Summary: Third-year Kim Jongwoon (Yesung) runs into Cho Kyuhyun one Monday morning at the school courtyard. An underclassman in Music club, Kyuhyun is incredibly popular among the girls, despite the rumor that he’ll go out with anyone who asks him first on Monday, only to break up wth then the following week and because of Yesung’s curiosity the two began dating.

Characters:
Kim Jongwoon: A third-year at their school that got the nickname Yesung due to his art-like voice. He is popular because of his princely looks and stoic aura but in reality he is happy-go-lucky and has a lot of weird habits that contrast his looks. Whenever he gets a girlfriend the girl would dump him telling that his personality doesn’t suit his looks and telling he wasn’t the person she thought he was. Hates people that says that they like his face. He would like to find someone that can love him not just because of his looks but his personality as well. Due to his personality and curiosity he asked Kyuhyun to be his couple of the week after hearing the rumor that he would accept anyone.
Cho Kyuhyun: A sophomore that has adopted as a custom accepting any girl, who confesses first on Monday, as his girlfriend during the week. If he doesn't fall in love with them, the relationship ends in that Sunday and, since he is so popular, he is very lucky to get a new girlfriend every Monday, or maybe not so lucky. He is an underclassman of Yesung in the music club but he rarely comes to the practice due to his dates. Kyuhyun is perfect-unfailingly kind and thoughtful, smart, gifted and rich that is why everyone is swooning over him. Once fall in love with the girlfriend of his brother Siwon but left brokenhearted knowing how the girl is in love with his brother. In search of true love that’s why he gives chance to everyone.
MONDAY
It is by human nature that a person judges by appearance. No one bothers about things they cannot see and cannot be seen. Like the heart…..
Self-study period..
Yesung is yawning when he saw girls that are waving at him by the window, he waved backed and flashed them a smile.
“He is so cute~ <3,” said the girl to her companion.
“Those girls don’t like “me” as a person, rather it’s all about my face,” thought Yesung while yawning and stretching.
Suddenly someone smacked a book behind his head.
“Ouch! Why did you hit my Teukie?” asked Yesung.
While holding a book Leeteuk is glaring at Yesung and said, “well mister let’s just say that you slept again at History class and you started yawning open mouthed with your handsome face.”
“Thanks for the compliment Teukie!” shouted Yesung.
“Stupid, that isn’t a compliment, seriously why don’t you act supposedly how you look? Your girlfriend might dump you again,” said Leeteuk.
“Thanks for the concern but I already got dumped yesterday and she told me that I wasn’t the person she thought I was,” Yesung answered smiling.
“Didn’t I warned you and told you?” Leeteuk asked.
“It’s their fault assuming things and they’re always the one who confesses to me to begin with and then get all disappointed when I’m not what they expect me to be,” replied Yesung.
“Well, you can’t blame them, in your case there is a huge gap between your personality and appearance. When you are singing or doing nothing you look beautiful and there is a very stoic air around you and then your face makes you look like a prince dreamed by every girl,” lectured Leeteuk.
“They should get in their heads that perfect guys doesn’t exist in reality,” grunted Yesung. “Stuff like falling in love… you never know when it’s going to happen to you,” continued Yesung.
“Okay, okay I get you now. Do you want to order Pizza?” asked Leeteuk.
While browsing the catalog Yesung heard his classmates talking.
“Kyuhyun is not here yet,” the girl with the ponytail said.
“I guess he’s not coming to school today, is he okay?” asked the girl with braids.
“I’m worried for him,” replied the girl with ponytail.
“It seems Kyuhyun hasn’t shown up today,” mumbled Leeteuk.
“Kyuhyun? You mean Cho Kyuhyun?” asked Yesung.
“Ah, that’s right! He belongs to the music club to, doesn’t he? Are the two of you close to each other?” asked Leeteuk.
“Nope, not at all. We are just acquaintances, he doesn’t really come to practice and we rarely talk to each other,” replied Yesung.
“Oh, today is Monday right? The day he’ll definitely say “yes” and at the end of the week he’ll tell his partner: “I couldn’t fall in love with you, let’s break up.” Said Leeteuk.
“That hurts,” replied Yesung.
“Normal guys like me will never understand popular people like that, exactly what kind of person is Kyuhyun anyway?” asked Leeteuk.
“A handsome guy……” Yesung answered standing.
“Don’t state the obvious, you can tell just by looking at him. Hey where are you going Yesung?” asked Leeteuk.
“Someone’s gotta get the pizza right? I told the delivery man that I’ll be picking them at the courtyard. See ya!” replied Yesung while going away.
On the way to the gate yesung decided to seat at the bench under the tree to wait for the delivery man.
“Normal guys like me will never understand popular people like that, somehow someone’s said something like that to me before.. although it was in completely different kind of situation from today’s. I’ve never had interest in Kyuhyun but right now I find myself wondering what kind of person he is. I’m definitely a much more decent person than he is though,” Yesung thought to himself.
Suddenly he heard a motor and thought, “Oh, is that the pizza man?”
A car stopped in front of the gate and Kyuhyun got out of it. Yesung noticed Kyuhyun and saw him talking with a woman then Kyuhyun realized that Yesung is looking at him and he bid goodbye to the woman.
“Morning,” greeted Kyuhyun as he made his way beside Yesung.
“Long time no see, Kyuhyun,” greeted Yesung while waving to Kyuhyun.
“You’re early today,” Kyuhyun said with a smile.
“No, you are just late,” Yesung replied with a smile. “Kyuhyun always causes a stir with that good-looking face of his,” thought Yesung.
“Was that you’re girlfriend? He looks older than 20,” commented Yesung out of nowhere.
“So straight-forward,” thought Kyuhyun. “You’re not very observant Hyung, actually she is my mother. So, Hyung, what are you doing here, you have classes right?” asked Kyuhyun.
“I’m waiting for pizza! We’re having self-study period right now,” replied Yesung.
“Ahh, I see,” said Kyuhyun. “Even if I get to class now…”
The reason why Kyuhyun’s popularity doesn’t drop even though he puts such stop to every relationship is because he would do everything his partner wants in the one week that they are going out.
“hmm.. I bet those girls are still anxiously looking out for him,” Yesung thought. “so, have have you been confessed today yet?” he suddenly asked.
“Hmm? Not yet,” Kyuhyun answered.
“So it’s going to start from now, huh, then, are you really fine as long as they confess to you first even if they’re totally not your type?” asked Yesung
“My type? You wouldn’t know if someone’s your type by looking at their face right?” answered Kyuhyun.
Yesung felt his heart beat faster and asked’ “don’t you have a type for example kind, gentle or sexy.”
Kyuhyun thought for a while and answered, “I don’t have a specific type but I like Hyung’s face.”
At that moment Yesung felt a sudden impulse and said, “How about I? Why don’t you go out with me Kyu?” He just wants to show the reaction of Kyuhyun about the confession, that’s all.
The two was engulfed by silence and suddenly the delivery man came.
“Are you Kim Jongwoon?” asked the delivery man. Yesung nodded and the man said, “ that would be 6000 won with tax.”
“Ah, I left my wallet at the room!!” exclaimed Yesung.
“Here you go,” Kyuhyun said.
“Thank you for your patronage!” said the man and left.
“Kyuhyun I’m sorry I left my wallet in class,” Yesung said while walking back to the school building. “I’ll pay you back when we reached my room.”
“That’s okay you should get going before the pizza gets cold,” Kyuhyun replied with a smile. “Okay I have to go now, see you later!”
After class…..
“Hey Ye do you want to hang out?” asked Leeteuk.
“Ah, yeah sure,” answered Yesung. “ Hey.. wait I feel like I forgot something.”
“You don’t have club activities anymore right?” asked Leeteuk.
The girls in the room suddenly started squealing, looking at the door.
“Ah! Sorry about that Kyuhyun. Thanks for helping earlier,” Yesung said and gives the money to Kyuhyun.
“Don’t worry about that. I’m wondering if we ca go home together today,” Kyuhyun replied while putting the money back at Yesung’s pocket. “Are you busy?”
“No, I’m not busy but you got club activities right?” asked Yesung surprised.
“Ah right, music club, hahahaha,” Kyuhyun replied.
“You have talent for music, iy’s such a waste if you keep skipping it,” lectured Yesung.
“Ah, by the way, can I get you’re cellphone number Hyung?” asked Kyuhyun.
“Don’t change the topic… yes I do have one. Let me key it,” said Yesung while entering his number.
“Hyung what is your given name?”
“It’s Jongwoon”
“Oh I see, can I call you Yesung?”
“Yes I think you can, why?”
“Because the name Yesung is perfect for you.”
“Kyuhyun you are called by teacher,” interrupted a girl.
“Okay, thanks,” Kyuhyun answered. “I’ll see you tomorrow Yesung~”
Yesung felt his heart beat faster again, “ Okay! Don’t skip club practice okay?”
Kyuhyun waved goodbye to Yesung.
“This is t he first time I’ve talked properly with Kyuhyun and surprisingly he’s an even stranger person than I thought he was.. I think this will be a very interesting week….” Yesung thought to himself while going home.
