Another Inappropriate Crossover

Inappropriate Crossover. X/1999 AU, diverging from canon after volume 16 of the manga. At least I assume this is an AU. With CLAMP, who knows?

This might not make sense even if you do know the manga. I also refuse to be held liable for any pains and/or traumata this might induce in hapless readers. Proceed at your own peril.

This is entirely me_n_thee's ( Read more... )

Oh man, if this is what happens when we go eat sushi together, we definitely have to do it more often! There are so many things in here that I love. The first sentence! The last sentence (no, I'm not kidding, I think both the beginning and the end are really strong)! Seishirou's sense of injured dignity!

And you know, this: "Right, black trench guy, hold it!" That's genius! I shall carry a picture of that scene in my head all day.

ETA: Uh, yes, it's my turn, but you expect me to write serious stuff with that on my brain?

I promise I'll try, though. And you'll be the first to know if I succeed.

Good. :-)

But I was actually talking about a bit of Subaru POV for this frighteningly inappropriate crossover... you did mention something about that, you know. I have a very good memory for such things. ;-)

Seriously? I said that? How much sake had I drunk? Or are you just trying to scare me?

Let me think about it.

Ooh, that would be *very* nice! Yes, I'd certainly buy it on DVD, sight unseen. ;-)

Glad you like it! My brain goes weird places sometimes. Though it did have help. *g*

Is this a HL crossover, or is that just my brain?

It's not just your brain. ;-)

HL, as in Highlander? Oh my god, it's true, HL is the sluttiest fandom ever, it's been in bed with everything else.

*g* It lures previously pure and virtuous other fandoms into dark alleys with the lure of making favoured characters immortal.

I just love Seishirou's practical attitude to it all - everything's interesting, deal with the immediate problems and figure the rest out later, the application of logic to extreme weirdness. This is just how he would be!

Thank you! :-)

Seishirou is actually one of the best candidates I can think of to toss into such a situation and have them come out on top.

Of course, he does have something of an edge, because his emotional reaction - such as it is - is not the hindrance it would be to most normal people. Though the facts that his dignity is injured, his plan has gone awry, and his appearance has suffered definitely hit him where it hurts.*g*
