The slings and arrows of linguistic misfortune...

Yes, dear friends, it's true: Once again, Junno has attempted to speak English. This never ends well. Witness:

KAT-TUN STYLE 2011/06/02
Junno: “Do you speak English?”
Girl: “Yes I do but not so much.”
*silence*
Junno: “Eh?”
Girl: “Yes I do but not so much.”
Junno: “Banana so much.”Clearly, this linguistic mishap is shouting out for an icon. The ( Read more... )

Oh Junno indeed! But isn't it adorable? Though, yeah, maybe finding it adorable is just one of my symptoms... ;-)

When I was listening to this KT Style, I just... I couldn't. xD Had to skip and then gather my courage to go back and listen. THE 2ND-HAND EMBARRASSMENT, OMG. -facepalm-

I have difficulties w/ foreign languages as well, tho, so Junno's fail has happened to me plenty of times. Though him confusing "but not so much" for "banana so much” is really LMAO-worthy, ofc.

I love how Junno was so surprised that the girl picked him for the 'Who do you like, Koki or Junnosuke?' question. xDDDD I actually stalk follow the listener on Twitter and she's a huge Junno fan. 8D We love you for your fails, Junno~

I keep thinking (hoping?) I will get cured of that damned 2nd hand embarrassment one of these days, after having watched so many JE spectacles. But, somehow, nope. Still there...

I love how Junno was so surprised that the girl picked him for the 'Who do you like, Koki or Junnosuke?' question.

Clearly, that kind of thing needs to happen to him way more often. Although I can't actually imagine it's exactly rare even now... it may well just beanother of those Junno things. It's hard to imagine him developing a star-type entitlement and/or arrogance even under the most severe of circumstances, after all...

We love you for your fails, Junno~

Awww, but this isn't a fail. :-) It's an adorable banana quote! And since the girl was such a huge Junno fan (which I didn't know, so thanks for telling me!), then I'm sure she agrees. :-)

I saw this on Tumblr and could not. stop. laughing. Awesome.

(None of those pictures do justice to the intellectualism of this quote, I'm afraid.)

3 is just *gorgeous* and the others are awesome too (but then, it's Junno ;))

You have a very good point there. :-)

I have a weird love for the banana jacket. Objectively speaking, it's awful, but on Junno, it somehow works. Banana magic...?

junno x banana = my new otp.

...

I wrote a story once about a similar otp... but fortunately that was in a different fandom. *cough* Curious to see where this new love will lead you! ;-)

Ayeeeeee! Oh god, no, not the monkey headdress! :-) I agree that in terms of banana-ness, it would be fitting, but, just, NO. I already have an icon of Junno in a mole costume, I don't think I can bear any more. ;-)

Yumm, some nice pics there though. I had forgotten about that chair pic with Koki. Niiiice.

And hey, feel free to spam my inbox any time you feel like it! :-)
