More WIP Amnesty. This is the beginning of an epic Due South AU that never went beyond the beginning...

I really, really like this concept. A real AU where Ray is recognizably Ray and the same can be said for Fraser - these are not things to be dismissed! You write them very well - I like how they are both slightly bewildered, yet drawn to each other. Wish you would find the impetus to continue!

I'm very glad you like the concept, and what there is of characterization in the little bit I did manage to write!

Unfortunately, I really do think I will never write more of this story... it's well and truly stalled. :-/

Okay, how did I never happen to see this before? And I sorta wish I hadn't, even, because you say there will be no more and now I am Sad. But what a cool concept! And great character voices! And...

So glad you like! :-) And, yeah - sorry about that. (And how did you stumble across this after all this time? *g*)

It's one of those AUs I keep wishing someone else would write because they seem so eminently logical and self-evident to me, and since no-one would, I tried to do it myself... but... no joy there, either.

I think I ended up here while looking for (a link to) that so-original map of Europe CNN did once. :)
