Is this happening a lot?

I remember a few weeks ago how the-gneech was having problems with the SJ Wikipedia article. Then while browsing Slate, I tripped across the article, Evicted from Wikipedia.

I'm just curious, I guess. And I guess I find the similiarities very interesting, if only on the fact that its messed up.

I don't use Wikipedia here or any of the pedia sites given how unstructured they are and the fact that any popularity seeking hotshot can come along and rewrite or otherwise delete what I write.

Of course this whole situation with the gneech's article reminds me of the problems some macrophiles were having about the changing of that particular article.

Yeah, I don't blame you. I just find it interesting on the standpoint that it sometimes seems that these Wiki-sysops are being overly heavy-handed in their actions a lot more than they used to be.

Do you think we could add that to the Wikipedia article on Wikipedia? ;) They'd probably ask for sources and want to make sure its notable or something. *snicker*
