So, I visited Chattanooga this weekend. I like it. A lot. And I'm totally shocked that I would say that. But it's really a neat city. And it has a lot of potential. And the house Dad made an offer for kicks ass for his intentions and if I'd like to live in it ( Read more... )

it's really good that you like it, funnily just yesterday my dad was telling my what a cool town it is. The people I know from there, don't like it all that much, but I think it's because it's a more old fashioned place and they're both way-way forward thinking, so felt held back by it. It's totally great that you like it though, I say go for it, sometimes a change in scenery can completely change your outlook on life. Plus you'll have family there and that'll make it easier.

It's kind of funny...I didn't find it old-fashioned at all. There was the emphasis on the historical things like the Choo-choo and the Trail of Tears, but nothing I haven't seen in St. Louis. And the city itself is far more progressive than Durham, in my opinion.

It's simply not what I expected at all. I'm pleased, but unsure of what to do next.
