I LOVE CHILDREN STORIES.
I am... not quite sure why I didn't notice this before, but I've finally started reading The Neverending Story, and there's just something appealing about the way it's written that I don't normally come across in adult stories. I'm also thinking about Ursula Leguin's Earthsea series here, because I think that's another one

Reading through the end of Preludes and Nocturnes (the first book) is definitely enough, since the only Sandman spoiler in that piece is that Death is, ummm... the most wonderful thing ever. >_> *still likes Dream more, but that's because of the epic tragedy*

Oh, hey. I'm incredibly lenient with villains as well. It's just... a lot of people aren't. And I've heard people say things about Itachi (and Sasori as well, whom I also adore) that are just... well, almost true, in a way, but also not at all. Hm.

A++, had to read the whole fic - the characterisation is excellent and I so so wish something like this happened in the show instead. How long till I stop whinging about Adam being a monstrous waste of a great character is anyone's guess, lulz
