Sorry for being slow, but they refer to two books in the most awesome fantasy series since Tolkien, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin. The first book is A Game of Thrones, and there's an HBO series of the same name - I highly recommend both the book and the show, for some of the best worldbuilding and most three-dimensional characters ever written. It also has vast quantities of sex and violence :-)
Hi. Here via Lizardspots. Although, I'd not got as frustrated with actually reading ADoD, I have to agree...the story is very little further along. Perhaps the stage is much better set for getting the Targaerian children back and eventually together or similar, though.
I hope so! And if he can write the last two books with the same sort of pacing as the first one it will be a spectacular conclusion to the series.
Though I have to admit, I'm not 100% convinced that Aegon's genuine... It just seems like the ol' switcheroo has been used far too often (Bran & Rickon, Davos, now this) for it to be entirely what it seems... though I'll be quite happy to be proven wrong!
