Nope. Sadly, I haven't read any comics since about 1998. Haven't had the funds to support the habit and haven't had friends local enough to borrow from.

*shrug*

Maybe some day, though.

You will continue to like the film as it stands if you DON'T read the comic.

Those of us who loved the comic were mightily dismayed by the changes they made to the story.

I have to say, I totally disagree with this assessment. I thought the movie really sucked, but that might have been influenced by the fact that I read the graphic novel the movie was based on before I saw the movie. I have to use the word "based" pretty loosely though, because... well... they didn't even stick with the characters in the novel, and most of the interesting aspects of the characters were totally lost. Mina in the novel was a strong, central character, not just the peripheral blood-sucking vamp along for the ride. who's this Tom Sawyer guy? (was that who it was ( ... )
