I read this on a night when the moon is full but concealed by the clouds dropping a steady gentle rain, with a barred owl hooting to its mate off in the woods.

This is a lovely quiet moment, letting them touch base and recharge their batteries.

You keep on telling yourself he's just being a good commander Sam. Just as long as you don't ask yourself if he says goodbye to Teal'c in the same way, and you won't be disabused of the notion, either.

I'm not usually a fan of UST either, but sometimes, if there's an agreement that it won't always be that way, that's good enough for me. And them, I think.
