I wish my high school reading had been that good. At one point my sophomore English teacher had Slaughterhouse Five on the reading list, but there somehow wasn't time to get to it. Coincidentally(?) she didn't like Vonnegut. So I read that one on my own that summer, but it was only when I was in college that I got around to reading Cat's Cradle, Player Piano, and The Sirens of Titan.
