Of the three presidential debates this fall, the third one was definitely the most entertaining, though I'm not sure how enlightening it was. I did learn some things though, at least about John McCain....

I remember hearing #4-9 and thinking, wtf? Is this guy out in left field? No, I guess far-right and pretty clueless. Or maybe he was just saying anything to make Obama look negative since he looked so damn good. It's called grasping at straws.

I admit to being a tad frightened as well.

It's interesting to me that neither Biden nor Obama picked on their opponent when Palin indicated that a Civil War general was in charge in Afghanistan, and McCain accused Obama of voting against one of the liberal judges while berating him over Roe v. Wade, respectively.

Well, I guess you hold back the dogs when you're ahead.

Yeah, Obama (and apparently Biden too) is good at picking the right battles and knowing when to let the voters come to his side on their own. He knows that too much attacking is just dragging McCain down more, and he doesn't want to get caught in that morass himself.
