It's a meditation technique that Kirk taught us at Summerland. You throw "circles" of concentration first by focusing on yourself and envisioning a sort of sphere of energy around yourself, and then by creating another larger bubble then encompasses you and the people you are directly addressing. You pull them in in this way, draw them with your focus and become simultaneously more aware with them while solidly focused on your own performance. You can cast more spheres to include the rest of the audience and then even the Kindred beyond.... oh, it's difficult to explain on here, but it works really well especially when you initially link hands with someone and then let go and move away and still feel the connection between you. Physical / visual aids are very helpful.
Anyway this technique is great for presentations and interviews... it creates a certain charisma. Not sure how else to explain.
