Due to proximity alone, I would think they had the edge here. Barring a Scots exit from a no-longer-United Kingdom, of course, in which case, Edinburgh would be a close competitor.

An English speaking nation is attractive to the London banks. There's talk that Scotland could remain, but Ireland is the sure bet.
