I agree wholeheartedly with Thomas Walkom's Toronto Star column about the profound flaws with the idea that denationalizing people for crimes could ever be OK.

No doubt that it has. It's been disturbing to realize that neighbours and co-workers have suffered the infliction of this nonsense upon them.

If the re-election happens, it'll be inevitable. And if the target of HarperGov's ire wins, they'll write it off as the cost of stacking the talent base from which future SCoCanada appointees can be drawn.
