Toronto not bidding for 2024 is good news for the rest of Canada as well. You can be sure a lot of federal money would have gone into the project.

Tory says not forever, but I wonder if it won't in fact be forever. The Summer Olympics may be slowly pricing itself out of existence. And will bidders continue to be willing to put up with the crap the IOC wants them to go through?
