The military's lack of enthusiasm might have something to do with the fact that they're trying to manage an actual war right now, which the government may or may not have noticed. The RCMP may lack enthusiasm because they're a police force, not an army.

In any case, it's all nonsense. The northwest passage is a navy problem and our navy is, and always will be, too small to matter on its own, especially given the other two behemoths in the area. I think we could take the Danes, though.

Sending the army out to the distant frontiers while leaving the imperial homeland unprotected is never smart.

I think we could take the Danes, though.

But what if they brought the other Nordic powers into the mix? I mean, those Finns are tough.
