Mom is home from the hospital, and feeling better. The house is a mess, but she doesn't care. Next week she'll be visiting doctors for two days, but driving in is better than being trapped in a hospital bed. She still has hoses and such strapped to her, so the dogs need to adore her from the foot of the bed, or put their chins on the arm rest of

The tulip fields are glorious, but they're blooming while it's quite cold. We were there in April? I'd have to look at the photos to check the dates, but the fields were almost over. Still, the blots of color were amazing.

Giverny, however, is amazing all the time. You should go. And visit Mont St. Michel. And Caen. And Falaise. And Rouen. Ah, heck, and Paris, too.

Now I'm all a-flutter over France, but I'm planning a trip though Germany in the fall. Ich fahre nach Berlin. Ich sprache ein bichen deutsch (sehr ein bischen).
