Probably best to look at something like this - http://www.thinkbroadband.com/isps.html

If you want triple/dual-play type thing to be cheapest as combined packages you are really looking at Sky or Virgin, or possibly talktalk. But it will depend whats in your area/house already as well.

Or if you want best - speed, it's probably Be. You also might find your current ISP have a moving house service that might be worth looking at to move your current connection.

Also worth checking http://www.samknows.com/ to see what LLU services are available - tiscali looks interesting with IPTV

A mate of mine really hates his Tiscali IPTV service. Things like only getting one stream at a time, so no recording one thing while watching another like every other PVR service lets you do.

Sky claims you can have Phone+Internet+TV for £17/month, but that's their really basic internet service that you'd have to upgrade unless you only surf text-based we sites. So it would probably be closer to £30 for decent internet, phone and the basic Sky package. This would be two 'mixes', which would be things like Sky 1 and other entertainment channels in one mix, then music channels, or documentaries each making up different mixes.

If you do go for Sky, talk to one of us that has it first, as they are always doing deals for free Sky+ boxes / shopping vouchers if you introduce a friend.

We use Sky, we get broadband, satellite and free evening and weekend calls for ~£20. You still have to pay BT line rental on top of that, though.

I'd never recommend Virgin to anyone, as they are NTL in a different box and NTL were the biggest pile of shit company ever- I'll never give them a penny of my money again.

So far, Sky have been fab- we have Sky+ and not sure how we coped without it, now!
