Issa mentioned to me the possibility of a vignette about a character's sensory exploration, and I just couldn't help but steal it. The result is strange and confusing and I am not kind enough to change that. Leave your continuity at the door.

I had to read this a few times to figure out the bits and pieces. It's very neat. I especially liked the moment where Reyce is eating something and trying to decide how to describe it when he knows that sense is somewhat limited.

Pia is a spitfire. No wonder he likes Issa.

I must have read this about five times through now. So many little things to catch, and each one makes me glee. I think I'm going to demand that you write more things about Pia, because she intrigues me so much.

I kept expecting there to be something in here about honeysuckle, and possibly also Caddy. I will have to read it again to figure out what it is actually about.
