Sirius' fragility was heart-breaking but, very, very real, and the way he (or, rather you) used sleep was really wonderful. Of course he would need to be with Remus to sleep. Of course he would need comfort and company. You showed that very well without making the poor man mad or over-the-top broken. You see that too much in fan fic (or it's opposite, perfectly fine Sirius with not issues at all from his twelve years of hell). It's a fine line and you danced it rather than walked it beautifully.
Your narrative voice is gorgeous and there was so much to love. This sentence was especially perfect: And then everything falls apart. He falls apart, rips apart, tears apart, ruins everything, and not even Sirius can contain him. The wolf is angry at Padfoot for 12 years of absence.
Really well done!
