I'M SORRYYYYYYYYYY.
You'd think that I'd be all over today's topic, but it has so many caveats and things I just didn't feel like writing it. Yeah, writing about religion. As usual, if it bothers you that I don't give it props all the time or that I DO give it some props, don't bother reading. Just go, okay?

...You do that and let me know where it's posted, and I promise you I will review it!
But yeah, these days I tend to waver between atheism and Deism. No, I don't believe there's a Big Daddy Sky God watching us every minute and judging/punishing/rewarding/etc.; the world's way too fucked up despite millions of people desperately praying for better every day for that to be believable anymore. SomeEntity may have set the globe to spinning epochs ago, but It/He/She/Xu must have moved on to other projects shortly afterwards.
Thanks for the link to Brian Dunning's article; it was good reading.

Oh, really? I didn't know you were an atheist/Deist. Learn something new every day. :p And you're welcome for the link--I think there's a link dump on one of the days in this meme, I'll share more skepticky things.
I never heard of xu as a genderless pronoun. XD I shall put that into my vocabulary.

Just because it's really late and I'm in a quirky mood right before I toddle off to bed, I pass along a raunchy old SF joke:
What's the difference between an asexual alien and a hermaphoditic alien?
When you say 'go fuck yourself', the asexual alien will ask what that verb you used means. The hermaphroditic alien will start picking out baby names.

Funny you mentioned it after I spent the night drawing my clayskins. Though they're bi-gendered. The just don't look like it at first.
Though if there's any SF out there with hermaphroditic or asexual aliens (besides Left Hand of Darkness--I read it and I loved it, despite the ending CRUSHING MY SOUL), I'd be more than happy to hear about 'em. <3
