I've known a couple of Satanists, and I've heard of others. While the folks I knew were decent enough, and talented, their religion one of the only ones I'd ever known where pretentiousness and wank were cannons.

One day I would like to meet a Pagan scientist. I'd even deal with "I do spellcraft because I feel there are forces in the universe that we can't yet measure or understand, but that the human will can in some way influence. Plus it keeps me positive!" But a Pagan who's love in life is actually *exploring* just what nature is. That would be awesome.
