i'll be honest, i'm far too tired and have been through too much shit today to read through all that. but 2 things jump out at me: 1, this was filed by the DOJ, not obama himself. i feel like it's important to draw that distinction. 2, one part mentions that the 9th circuit has not acknowledged sexual orientation as a classification that can be discriminated against. most non-marriage laws beg to differ, though, as one cannot legally refuse or terminate employment based solely on sexual orientation, and crimes motivated by a bias against sexual orientation are considered hate crimes. not to mention, the 9th circuit could easily change its mind and decide that sexual orientation IS a classification being discriminated against, should the right case be brought before them

I never expected him to go parading in the streets about it, either (I mean, I think that he isn't for it, anyway, and that's totally his right. Not as awesome and he could be, but that's his right.)

I want him to clear up this shit. This is heinous.
