RIP Max

This week I had to take an unexpected drive from Seattle to Portland, as my sister's wonderful dog Max was not doing well. He had been failing for some time, but had gotten much worse in the past week. Since my sister's dogs are her children (she has another wonderful dog, Kona) and she is very bonded to them, the idea of losing Max was difficult

I'm so sad for you and your sister. I have some idea how she feels having had to say good-bye to our Lucky last Spring.
