Happy ordination anniversary to me.
A year ago today, I became ordained in the Universal Life Church. At that time, I'd already started my discordian ministry under the name of Reverend Jack. I conducted the first Midwest Discordian Ministry Assembly retreat at the end of that month, and performed my first wedding ceremony in August. Last month, I became an official member of the local Unitarian Universalist church, and I performed my second wedding ceremony (for a bridesmaid and groomsman from the first wedding who liked my work.) The second MDMA retreat is coming up at the end of this month, and my third wedding follows in early June. This year I learned I'm not really a Subgenius preacher, and I've got a lot to learn to be the kind of preacher I want to be. But I'm well on my way.
