i hated Grapes Of Wrath. of course, this probably stems from my deep rooted hatred for john steinbeck.
heh, you might enjoy it. i just want to warn you about the last two pages. *shudders*.

I've heard mixed things about The Grapes Of Wrath, but I figured that since I might have to read it during school, I might as well read it now.

i'll never understand why grapes of wrath is considered the best book ever. it's okay...but really dragged out and boring at some parts. there are so many other books that are better. of mice and men wasn't horrid but if it were any longer i would have hated that one too.

the movie isn't bad. it's got a nice purpleyish color to it. and of course henry fonda is in it, which gives anyone a good reason to watch it.

A little out of the book context, but... YOUR BIO!!!!

I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE the endless psychotic 2dollarism in that movie! ooooooooooyeah!

"Where's my freakin 2 dollars!"

"2 dollars!"

I've said this to strangers, but they don't ever seem to get it.

You're lucky to be you!

You get it.

I HEART BETTER OFF DEAD SO MUCH. I'm currently looking to purchase it somewhere, as I am a huge fan of John Cusack.

Hehe, I heart it, too! And a few other 80s flicks..

And John... Yeah, he was a cute kid!

Heck, he still looks the same now. A little less spunky/energetic, but he still has a innocent funniness about him... or or... I don't know what! I don't know how to describe him! It's kinda unique. It's a funky vibe.

I really like the young Val Kilmer in the 80s, too -- in Real Genius and the, er, er... mancowmovie, too! (i forget the exact name!; or, heh, the name... period!) ;)

I adore 80's pop culture. When I get my DVD player, I'm planning on making an 80's movie collection.
