[There’s a bored look on the girls face, a finger tapping the screen, mumbling, more to herself.]

This would be easier if you worked like a den-den mushi-Ah! [Leaning in to blink at it more, she tilted her head.] That’s better ( Read more... )

"Mantis thing". That tells me so much, Zoro.

It was a mantis! With strange blade like legs! I am pretty sure mantises don't look like that!

...

[And we are a go...]

You just contradicted your self, idiot! You just said it was a mantis but then said it had bladed legs. No mantis looks like that!

Why is this even important?!

Um... I'm not sure, but I don't think the fog's natural. I dunno if it's normal weather around here, though.

Bugs? Well I... um...

There's giant worms out there. I guess some of them are as big as houses.

Ah-- [Blinks. New voice! Go!]

Figures. I wonder how much longer it will be around. It's... not natural. it doesn't burn out. It--... [A hand wave and a sigh, leaning back, eying the screen]

As big as houses might be a bit of an exaggeration, but they are large and annoying.

We'll just have to wait it out. I don't think there's anything we can do about it. Hmm, I need to look up incidents similar to this one, now that I think of it...

I guess they are annoying, but they're dangerous too. The fog makes it hard to see things, so...

It can't hurt to try something though, can it? But i would like to know of other incidents similar to this one... hmm...

I've noticed. It' not making it easy to look around.

Um, some people have been here longer than I have, but for about the first week after I arrived, the weather was fairly normal. Sunny days and rainy ones...though there were still monsters out on the streets, just not aas many.

The...g-giant spiders and...leeches seem to be new, though...with the fog...before the fog came in, there was this odd announcement by someone calling themselves "Mem" about it. Unfortunately, that's all I know.

[A small sigh and a grinning smile]

At last! Someone with some actually answers. That was more help them I've gotten so far. So it was sunny before, with less bugs? So they came with the fog?

[A humm, she's pondering this over.] ...

Oi! Thanks... so... we just have to get rid of the fog...

Well... if I can get rid of the fog maybe the trouble will go with it... [Heeee kind of smiling laugh, also knows as 'this is good news']

Actually, you just have wonderful timing. [His tone is cheerful, along with his expression.]

Although the fog hasn't been here before, it's very odd when it doesn't clear up after late morning. In fact, it's been here for days with no signs of fading.

As far as the monsters go, there are three that I know of that came with the fog. Shall I assume you're interested in hearing about them, too? [Jade raises an eyebrow, still smiling and cheerful.]

I love my timing.

I've noticed the lack of clearing up. It seems to linger day and night. Someone else said it was new too. Any idea what's causing it?

And assume away. I've heard about spiders, worms and leeches, but if you can tell me more about them that would be nice.

No idea. It came in one day, and then a woman going by the name of 'Mem' told us that she would be using it as part of a new experiment. I have reason to believe that she might be the one causing this phenomenon.

The spiders contain a neurotoxin, and come in a variety of sizes. Apparently, the venom isn't just in their fangs, and if you're wounded by it, I suggest calling Sakura for the antivenin.

The leeches I mentioned are strange, indeed. They fly, and they release a chemical that causes the person to feel extreme aggression, and attack anyone in sight. I suggest not getting bit by it, but they are hard to detect.

I don't know much about the worms, to be honest, but I will be analyzing a specimen shortly.

Mem. I keep hearing that name... who is she? Any idea?

[She's moving, talking at the same time but wandering through the fog as they spoke.]

Sakura? Who's she? Hmmm but the informations, it's helpful. They didn't tell me the leeches fly...hnn...

The worms, I was told can feel vibrations? I've been staying on higher levels, just in case. So far I've only ran into the spiders...

[Rustle rustle, sounds of something being placed in a plastic bag]

Hel~lo, Miss Nami.~♥ You just reminded me about something I nearly forgot in the shitty-confusion I got caught up in earlier.

[His voice seems to dim like he's moving the den-den-mushi away from his mouth, some static and then back in business.]

Let's see...This mist wasn't around here when I first arrived. In fact it just started to roll in when I was in the middle of meeting some 'guide'.

[Her not-den-den mushi is tied to her hip, so sometimes the view is dizzying when she walks. But she paused as she heard him, picking it up and peeking into it again.]

Sanji~ that's what I'm hearing, which explains why it feels so wrong. It's not natural. An experiment? I think that was what someone just told me. I'm going to see if I can clear it away, though I have the feeling it wont work...

[raised eyebrow cause he still doesn't know what you're capable of.]

Clear it away?...Does Ms. Nami have some sort of devil fruit ability?

[ehhhhh, keeps forgetting he doesn't know her. Bastard! Forgetting someone as cute as her!]

No. Not devil fruit. More like natural talent. [She said smugly, though one might note her reception is starting to crackle out a bit. She's stopped moving at least]
