*sigh* Americans really don't know how to make pies. Whenever we go back to France, we LOVE eating lots of different tartes.

I did make one similar to your description last year though, with a pâte sablée, and it was delicious!

You know, that might sound stupid, but when I think of American pies, I think of Pushing Daisies' pies. Do they all look like that in the United States ? I guess it's all in the traditions. :)

I never asked you, where do you come from in France ?
