It makes all the difference. Just as the fact the dead are brought back to life by the scientists and show up in the hospital.

He clicks through the replies for a bit, skipping over his own. It's not until he goes back through them a second time does he realize his mistake and throws the communicator out the window again, snarling in frustration and anger.]
