Great chapter. Loved the slow coming back together and romantic sex. Even better was Sophia walking in the next morning trying to get them up for breakfast and her whole attitude.

John's attitude was typical that he always knows best, when he knows nothing. Glad Sam got him to back off, hope he stays back.

With everything settling down between the boys its going to come as a shock when they find out they're brothers. So I'm happy for them to enjoy themselves for a while.

Sophia is just really fun. I think I get a little sick and tired of some of the female characters in fanfiction out there and she started out as just my contribution to the less irritating percent of female OCs but then she just started to come into her own. She's great to write.

John, on the other hand, is a piece of work. He always gives me trouble!! This whole chapter got stalled because of him. He's the one character I am frequently just entirely unsure of, his voice doesn't come easily to me and sometimes when I think it might work to have him say or do something, I start second-guessing. I have no idea how I'm going to get through the final set (I sort of broke the fic into smaller portions in my head based on plot twists. The final set is the whole brother deal) because he's (naturally) a bit part of it. I have a crazy crazy work week ahead, but I'm hoping to get some time to write and hopefully have something finished soon.

Damn, I had some catching up to do with the chapters to get here. And I am still in love with this story. This chapter was awesome, very nice and sweet between the boys in which I'm sort of guessing is a 'calm before the storm' deal. I just love them together in here: they fit perfectly. Your Dean is subtly different and more intense but he's still completely true to his character and Sam is so protective of him (which I totally love) that their dynamics are different than one would expect in "canon" -if such a thing as wincest could be doable canon-wise- but so very, very interesting exactly because of those changes.

John being around them wouldn't be good for Dean, I'm guessing. I'm glad Sam could hold him off. But when that particular ghost hanging between them catches up with the Winchesters it's gonna be a sight to see (or read, as the case might be). Gah, I can't wait for more (and more, and more, don't stop on my account...)

Definitely a calm before the storm. Gee, I'm getting kind of predictable... well, basically any calm moment from here on in is a calm before the storm. I started this fic because I wanted to toy with the dynamics between the boys, and also to explore them at an angle, so to speak, to set them off-kilter so they don't have the same defenses and habits. It's really good to hear that you're enjoying it because of that as well as because of the general craziness of the plot because that's really the fic's intent (at least, for me, because that's what I'm experimenting with
