I’ve been reading a lot of posts and articles about the inclusion of Pagan Chaplains into the US Military.  I’ve read everything from fundamentalists attacking their preconceived notions of Pagan beliefs as “un-American”, to Reverends saying that all religions should be included equally, to people (including Pagans) attacking the same guy for his ( Read more... )

Religion and military? No one cares in Sweden anymore as most people are atheist or agnostics anyway.

Anyway, let all religions reign free in the army!

There are a fair number of 'believers' in the U.S. military, so having Chaplains is all about providing for the morale of the troops, IMHO. That said, I totally agree that if you're going to provide for one, you've got to provide for them all.

Thanks! I actually had to cut it *way* back from what I originally wrote. I have a tendency to get rather long-winded at times. Fortunately I was able to pare it down to something a bit more concise. :)
