The first night DL sleeps over at Niki's, he gets up to take a leak and finds a teeny-tiny white boy with a bruise on his cheek sleeping on her couch, tv flickering the background. Something about this seems perfectly natural, so he just grabs the blanket odd the armchair and drapes it over the kid before going back to bed ( ... )

They still haven't given the dog a name, but Sean knows some about animals and he knows they need space to run, so every Sunday, provided he and Billy have the day off and no emergencies have cropped up, they load up the car and drive the nearest big park, a tiny trail leading up an occasionally wooded hill ( ... )

I love this reaction from her. She's definitely Sean's child in this moment and I love Sean's decision not to apologize for her.

The visuals are great for the second trip and I really like that they can have a bit of a happy family moment together.

Haha, well, it's true, there are good ways to enter a situation like that and bad ways, and when you choose to humiliate the child and step into the parental role, you overstep your bounds. Me, I engage the child as a distraction, or a playmate and it works pretty well.

I love mountains in rain. It's what I miss most about home.

Dude! Duuuuude! OMG this is awesome! *is incoherent with glee* Cho and Dani! EEEEEEEEEE!

I love how they're both so low key! And practical and dry and, and! Cho hates wasting paper! Dani wears her dress uniform!!! And I'm so glad Charlie is present even in the background but: Dani and Cho!!! So my AU OTP! Thank you!

Nikki wears her hair short when she gets back to the US. She's not in any trouble, Landry and her fax machine took care of that, but she likes the reminder, likes not being flashy. Nothing's the same, not her, not anyone ( ... )

Thank you! I'm not so great with Nikki's voice, I don't think. She was never a character I could quite get a handle on(though I love Julia Stiles)
