I knew you couldn't just mention five! Your choices are interesting, with some surprises. I did tell you I finally saw Nausicaa, right? I need to watch it again. I saw it once with #2, who really loved it. Not his best movie from a structural sense, but possibly my favorite of his heroines.
I hadn't thought of "Babette's Feast" for a long time. That's one of the best food movies I've ever seen, along with "Eat Drink Man Woman."
I caught the end of "Enchanted April" again recently, having watched it for the first time a few years back on your recommendation.
I tried to watch "Chronicles of Riddick" tonight, but was too tired from my latest decaffination efforts, or just not in the mood for film noir in out of space. I'll give it a try another time, but tonight all I could think was, "Mr. Diesel, you're no Bogey."
