Ooh, lucky! I've only seen the newer films on the big screen. I'd love to see "Totoro" in the theater.

That's my feeling exactly! I saw Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Ponyo, and The Secret World of Arrietty on the big screen, but everything before Mononoke or anything since then that didn't get widely released in US theaters, I've only seen on the small screen, if at all.

Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (dubbed version) was wonderful this noon, and I'm hoping to take in two more films tomorrow afternoon.

Whisper of the Heart is a sweet movie but I don't like it as much as the others in your line up. I think Spirited Away is my absolute favorite but My Neighbor Totoro is a very close second. Miyazaki is an absolute genius and I love all of his stuff. :)
