I don't know. I may do that. I was even thinking of giving the ticket away to someone once I got there, but I feel a bit uneasy about standing around in the dark doing that on my own. I wish I didn't have to be so English at times. *g*
It just seems a shame to let a ticket go to waste, really.
It's no help now, but if you find yourself in a similar situation again and would rather give a ticket away than waste it, you might try Freecycle. I've certainly seen people giving away train tickets on the local group.
I joined when we got rid of our TVs, DVD & VCR in the summer, and I've been watching ever since, fascinated by what people offer and what gets eagerly snapped up. I gave away two big framed rucksacks this morning and the delight of the recipient really made my day.
That's really useful actually, because I have a number of items in the loft I need to get rid of, and didn't want to throw away. I will certainly have a look at it, thanks.
I'd have *loved* to see them then, but they never toured anywhere near enough that my parents would have let me travel to. Which, let's face it, would have had to be in our front room, since I wasn't allowed out in the evenings.
But never fear, for last night I was 16 all over again *and* I got to dance the night away. *g*

We visited friends last night who saw Rush in Birmingham earlier this week and they were still buzzing.
