LOL! Could have been worse, you could have been Family Fortunes...
Got my supplies at the ready, TdF - or, as TB puts it, 3 hours of men's bottoms - starts on Eurosport in five minutes. We should have a TdF viewing chat with roadrunner1986. She was inordinately pleased yesterday. ;-)
The Tour starts in 15 minutes on ITV4 - I'm loyal to Gary, Phil and Paul, they've seen me through the Tour since 1987. Not surprised roadrunner1986 was pleased yesterday - that was a great result. I'm just excited that one of the Brits got to the end with the big riders. Not sure that's happened since the days of Robert Millar.
*glares at stupid car show on ITV4 and tells it to stop now*
I'm going to switch over when they start. I'm just greedy, I suppose. I've always had a soft spot for those two. I was only saying to someone else yesterday, they must have felt re-born when ITV4 came along. In the past they were stuck with their half-hour slots at tea time or in the middle of the night on Ch4.
I've always followed cycling, it's a family thing I suppose, but I've not been able to pay any attention to the big races for the past two years. I'm really enjoying being able to follow it properly again this year, and I've got next week off, so I plan to do nothing but running, vidding and watching men's bottoms! ;-P
