It's quite possible that you've ended up defining the look and feel for apps with lots of buttons on the iPhone, and lots of people will use your UI conventions.
The reflex is to say that, well, both you and he combined 'calculator' with 'shiny Aqua buttons', of course you ended up the same place - but then I look again and notice that he chose the same colors for number and operator keys; unless you both got the color scheme of some existing real-world sci calc, there's definitely room to grumble here!
Yeah, I could have figured it as parallel design if it'd just been the glossy buttons and the LCD shape and color, but there's a lot more matches than that.
* The black background. * The buttons are rounded and glossy in the exact same way. * The text on the buttons has the same text shadows. * Same colors for number and 4-function keys. * The existence of the Fn key to cycle through more than 2 function sets. This is rather unlike most other calculators, who usually used keys like 2nd, Shift, Blue-shift, Brown-shift, Green-Shift, ↰, or ↱. * Each function set changes key colors, like my app does, though the colors are different. * The small text for the RPN stack, and the big text for the current number.
So, overall, it's definitely borrowing the look-and-feel.
He did re-arrange keys a lot, and added numerous functions, but I wish he'd add a way to turn off fixed decimal mode, and provide a proper Exp key. Also, the lack of an AC/CE button drove me nuts. His addition of STO and RCL is useful.

He did do a few things as the HP and Ti did, as the +/- key is in the lower number pad area making it easier to find.
And yes, yours is a 'clever web page' but its a bright shiney clever web page with yummy candy like buttons!
